Wires and cables have become a thing of the past for telephones, games consoles and a host of other modern technology, so why should voice picking systems be any different? It shouldn’t, according to top-VOX, which has just launched the topSPEECH-BlueMaster, a wireless headset with audio broadband transmission, which is designed to make voice picking easier and safer. A replaceable battery provides a running time of around 15 to 20 hours, plus as the Bluetooth module is placed directly in the microphone capsule rather than in the headphones it has made the system more ergonomic for users. Top-VOX reckons the combination of the topSPEECH-BlueMaster and topSpeechLydia 6.0 voice software will result in higher pick rates, increased productivity and improved safety. As top-VOX’s pick-by-voice software doesn’t require any speech training, the company is inviting visitors to pick orders at the demo warehouse of its stand.
