The latest supply chain technologies at Logistics Link Live seminars
Thursday, April 22, 2010
A series of free seminars at this year’s Logistics Link Live show in Coventry will give logistics and warehouse managers the perfect opportunity to hear all about the latest in productive, cost effective and energy-saving industry systems and technologies. Running across both days - 16 and 17 June - six industry-leading suppliers are giving several concise and information-packed free seminars on developments affecting the whole supply chain.
Solutions consultant Gareth Thomas from Zetes will present 3iVWES Express, the industry's first "plug and play" voice directed work solutions offering unrivalled flexibility, fastest ROI and lowest ownership costs. In addition, using a selection of case studies Zetes will show how data capture and identification technologies are playing a vital role in developing demand driven supply chains.
A joint presentation by Auto ID specialists Inotec UK and Belgravium will focus on the use of RFID and barcode technologies and how companies can decide which is the right solution for their business. As well as hearing practical examples aimed at demystifying many of the secrets surrounding these technologies, attendees will also receive a free 2D and RFID Diagnostics DVD.
OBS Logistics will demonstrate how warehouse management, transport management and supply chain tracking systems and software can have a direct and positive impact on a company’s carbon footprint. And with new, tougher legislation of energy use in warehouses now in force, this is a session no one should miss.
Logistics Link Live 2010 – which also includes a product demonstration zone - takes place in the Ricoh Arena Coventry on the 16 and 17 June. One of the UK’s most modern and well-equipped conference centres, the Arena is the new permanent home for the show, conveniently located in easy reach of the main Midlands towns and cities, and close to motorway and rail networks.
