For many years OBS Logistics has been delivering sophisticated solutions on a conventional license and services model which it still offers. However, the Company recognised that organisations now need to focus on their core business by outsourcing more non-core activities and dealing with as few suppliers as possible. As a result OBS Logistics has invested in extending its Managed Service capability by opening a dedicated, purpose built, ISO 27001 certified data centre in Runcorn, Cheshire, backed up by its existing data centre facility located at the main Liverpool office. The Runcorn site offers what you would expect of a data centre for hosting business critical applications with dual power supply from separate generating regions, excellent communications infrastructure, fire protection systems and 24/365 on site security. The Liverpool site also facilitates the provision of hot standby capability with geographical resilience.
