Live demo event is a UK first for logistics sector

Logistics Showroom, an exciting new two-day event from the organisers of Logistics Link Live, offers a unique opportunity to see live demonstrations in a real warehouse of products, systems and services for the supply chain.

The event, the first of its kind in the UK, takes place at Magna Park, Lutterworth, on 21 and 22 May.

To create the Logistics Showroom, Solar, one of Gazeley�s cutting-edge eco-friendly new warehouses at Magna Park, will be turned into a tailor-made display arena.

With a 12m internal ceiling height, 50 kN per square metre floor loadings and almost unlimited room, it will allow the Logistics Showroom to accommodate the kind of live demonstrations that just won�t fit into a normal exhibition hall.

Over 100 exhibitors are expected to take advantage of this unique opportunity to show off their products in a real working environment. This represents a perfect opportunity for any user, buyer or specifier of logistics and supply chain products, plant, equipment and vehicles to see for themselves just what the latest developments on the market can do.

Logistics Showroom will feature products and services for every industry sector, with the demonstrations covering everything needed to operate and manage an efficient modern supply chain. Exhibits and demonstrations will cover product areas such as lift trucks, product identification and marking equipment, packaging and packing, storage, warehouse automation, scissor lifts, fleet management and telematics systems, palletized distribution and wireless data systems.

The demonstrations and exhibits will be complemented by free seminar sessions and an online �matchmaking� service allowing visitors to book appointments with suppliers they want to talk to at a time to suit their schedule.

Ideally located in the heart of one of Europe�s most successful dedicated distribution developments, Logistics Showroom is on the doorstep of some of the largest warehouses in the UK. It offers easy motorway access from the M1, M6 and M69 motorways and plenty of free parking right next to the show.
